Apostle David Durant

postle David Durant is the founder and Senior Pastor of Restoration Ministries International Barbados, hosts of the Eagle’s Eye Prophetic Conference for the last three years.

This year, Apostle Durant celebrates 31 years in ministry. Called into the family of God in 1975 whilst living in Guyana, a young David Durant pursued God with a passion. This passion led him to commence preparation for the pastoral ministry. During his time at Bible School he served as Youth Leader, Deacon and also on the national youth committee of the Full Gospel Fellowship of Churches.

Inspired by a word from God to pioneer a ministry in Barbados, Prophet Durant returned to his native homeland in 1979 to fulfill the vision. He married Joy Grant of Guyana in 1980 and together they pastored a church in a rural area of Barbados for four years before God led them to establish Restoration Ministries in Brittons Hill St. Michael.

Today, Restoration Ministries is a powerful prophetic and apostolic ministry with a strong worship mandate and the evidence of the operation of the fivefold ministry.

Prophet Durant serves on several national and regional committees. He presently presides over the International Association of Ministers and he is also a founding member of the National Reformation Strategic Partnership of Barbados. His involvement with these two associations is in tandem with his heart for ministry to pastors since both groups bring Pastors from various denominations together for prayer, fellowship and encouragement. He has become a spiritual father and mentor to many ministers, with Restoration Ministries giving covering to several independent Ministries in Barbados, Antigua and Trinidad.

His weekly radio program 'Restoration' is an inspiration to many persons across the nation and region. Prophet Durant travels extensively flowing in a prophetic psalmist anointing ministering in conferences, seminars and crusades throughout the Caribbean, USA, United Kingdom, Surinam and Guyana. He is also on the committee of the Caribbean Region division of International Christian Leaders Connection Network.

Prophet Durant recently presented at the Caribbean Worship Institute’s seventh annual conference, which took place from April 26th to May 1 2006 in Curaçao. The conference theme was Earth, Wind and fire. This is the second consecutive year that Prophet Durant has been one of the presenters.

Prophet Durant and his wife Pastor Joy are the proud parents of three sons, David Jr. Jonathan and Timothy. All three are active members of the ministry functioning in various capacities.
